AWS Global Connectivity and Network Availability
OVERVIEW
AWS Global Connectivity and Network Availability encompasses AWS’s extensive global infrastructure of interconnected data centers and points of presence. This network ensures high-speed, low-latency access to cloud services for users around the world.
GOAL
The goal was to educate clients about AWS’s network architecture and highlight its unique advantages. The aim was to enhance experiences for both customers and end-users, ultimately positioning AWS as a leader in the industry and demonstrating the added value it offers to clients and their audiences.
ACTION
I developed brand guidelines, created visual assets, templates, and crafted a marketing strategy focused on increasing brand awareness and boosting client engagement. I worked both independently and in close collaboration with the Product Management Team.
RESULTS
The libraries of templates, icons, and illustrations I designed enable the Product Team to easily edit, adjust, and scale future assets. Performance metrics are not available at this time.

Branding
Using the AWS Brand Guidelines as a starting point, I put together a color scheme and gradient styles that fit with the brand’s look and feel. I worked with existing icons and also designed new ones to make sure everything was consistent and clear. This helped create a cohesive visual style that could be used easily across different assets and projects. See entire deck here.

ILLUSTRATION
The AWS Global Network didn’t have much in terms of visual representation for its services and benefits. To fix that, I designed custom backgrounds and components that tied everything together. I created illustrations that simplified complex technical ideas, making them easier to understand and more engaging. These visuals helped better communicate the network’s features and strengths in a clear, cohesive way.

When I first joined, there were no visual assets or references beyond a few icons. The Product Team provided several documents, which I reviewed, extracted key information from, and organized. I conducted research and identified five distinct categories that clearly articulate the value proposition of AWS Global Network. Each category was designed with specific colors, which I developed as part of a broader color palette I created based on the AWS Brand Guidelines. See entire deck here

MARKETING STRATEGY
I put together a marketing strategy focused on boosting brand awareness and encouraging more engagement from clients. The plan includes a mix of different channels and tactics, like digital marketing efforts, social media campaigns, and content creation. My goal was to create a cohesive approach that not only reaches the right audiences but also builds stronger connections and keeps the brand top of mind.
